Welcome back to Costa Rica!

Is your country on the list?

The Costa Rican Government has constantly reviewed numbers worldwide and listened to scientific advice to decide when to open its international airports and seaports as well as which countries’ citizens should be permitted entry.

To date, the list includes the European Union, the Schengen Zone, the UK, Canada, Uruguay, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, China, Australia and New Zealand. Selected States of the USA have been allowed entry:

From September 1st, 2020: citizens from Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia and Washington DC were cleared for travel into Costa Rica.

From September 15th, 2020, citizens from Arizona, Colorado, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Mexico, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Washington and Wyoming have been allowed entry.

If the epidemiological evidence supports Californian citizens being added to the list of permitted states, then they will be welcomed into Costa Rica from October 1st, 2020.

We’re looking forward to seeing you!
